Georgetown Texas and Renewable Energy

The claim is that Georgetown Texas is going to soon be getting 100% renewable energy, according to Mother Jones and the Guardian newspaper of London, UK. The only problem is this is a total fraud. Mother Jones mag is not a good source of info. Georgetown is a city of 47,000 inhabitants and includes Southwestern University, and the large retirement community, Sun City. So what is the problem. The energy that Georgetown will use could never be 100% green, no global warming energy. When the wind dies down, when the clouds come, Georgetown will use gas or even coal energy to power the backup system. As nearby Austin, Texas has found, this is expensive as well.
