It seems that the Obama Administration is providing a bit of greenie delight, courtesy of belief in the global warming doctrine. It is said to be moving to the strict pollution controls of California. This may be a move that is going to cost a lot of money. Is this really just the nail in the coffin of the US auto industry. Even Toyota of Japan is becoming number one in the world, only to idle factories and go out of business or at least into trouble. Time to retool auto plants to make high-speed trains, commuter rail and even magnetic hydrodynamic (maglev) trains.
