You Can be My Oyster-- in a Global Warming Sea

Oysters can be quite entertaining creatures. See, there were these two oysters who came into a bar. The male ordered a whiskey on the rocks. The female ordered "I'll have a martini on sand, it's much more comfortable." The male protested "I thought we were drinking, not mating."

With global warming, it is alleged, there may even be more oysters, harvested in warm waters. Oysters have often been called an aphrodisiac and they can be tasty, either raw, fried, poached or boiled. For healthy people, there is nothing wrong with with eating them raw, but there can be problems for sensitive people. At-risk people who like to eat raw oysters are advised to eat post-harvest processed oysters or fully cooked oysters instead. Healthy individuals are not at risk of serious infection, but it is something that at-risk individuals should know about, if they eat Gulf oysters.

Vibrio vulnificus is bacteria that occur naturally in warm, unpolluted seawater. This bacteria can at times be found at oysters that are harvested, particularly in summer. If you are concerned about this bacteria, you can get oysters that have post-harvest processing, such as pasteurization, high pressure treatment, or quick fresh frozen processing.

Doubts Grow in London, UK about Global Warming

The Ice Age is Coming,
The suns zooming;
Freeze up's expected,
The weakness within;
A faulty weather forecast, but I have no fear;
Cause London is icy, and I live on the river;;;;;
Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh ,oh !!!!

(spoof on "the Clash" song- London's Calling)

No, it hasn't gotten that bad yet, the Thames River in London has not yet frozen over. Historical records do show that it froze over on occasion during the little Ice Age of the 1500-1700 or so. According to a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Agency (NOAA) report, the ice pack in the Arctic is expanding again. The ice is back again to 5 million square miles up North.

The poor, black and hispanic people of Harlem, NY ask, is all the money and effort spent to do "carbon counts" and the like, wasted energy? The T-shirt Queen says watch out, the climate is like Harlem these days, real cool.

Things down south in the Antarctic are pretty cold too. Has global warming gone south for good? The Feb. 18th report in the London Daily Express showed that there is nearly a third more ice in Antarctica than usual. The Daily Express recalls the photograph of polar bears clinging on to a melting iceberg, which has been widely hailed as proof of the need to fight climate change and has been used by former VP Al Gore during his "Inconvenient Truth" lectures about mankind's alleged impact on the global climate, and points out that Gore fails to mention that the photograph was taken in the month of August when melting is normal.

Express notes, scientists are saying the northern Hemisphere has endured its coldest winter in decades, adding that snow cover across the area is at its greatest since 1966. In its Sept. 28, 2007 issue, EIR analyst Greg Murphy pointed out that because the current interglacial period has lasted more than the 10,000-year average, it is expected that a new ice age is in the making. "We don't know exactly when ice will once again advance to cover a good part of the Northern Hemisphere," but an ice age is coming. So we may not know when Jesus is coming back again, but the ice age seems to be showing more definite signs anticipating its return.

Whether the climate is warming or cooling, we humans must be careful how we affect the Earth. After all, even if an Ice Age is coming, we may somehow modify it, and make it less cold, therefore interfering with a natural cycle. The best thing is to conserve energy and material and be eco-responsible, and do it in a sustainable manner.

Green Environment, Green Love for Harlem

Let's get some green environmentalist love for the poor people in Harlem NY. Many of them, born black and Puerto Rican have been deprived of the best of opportunities. If we built an environmentally clean Maglev train to carry them quickly and even cheaply to downtown Manhattan, I think they would be eternally grateful. And you can buy some I Love Harlem items or from the T-Shirt Queen as well.

If we cared as much about the poor people in the world as we do for the polar bears that are threatened by Tumbling Ice, by global warming, we would be much more successful as members of the Green movement. If we can desalinate seawater, with High Temperature Gas Reactors and build forests in the desert, the earth's climate as a whole would benefit. Then we could be rich and green, at least more and more people all over the world.

Get Back,
Get Back to the People,
The People of the world today!

Greenies are really Doggies

Yes, Greenies are really Doggies. They are like doggies trying to dig up a bone. Why do you dig up the bone doggy? "Because it is the only thing that I know how to do, sir. I, a doggy, am a product of my environment.

So, I am doggedly attached to the fear of global warming, and I won't let reality sway me in the least. I, as a doggy know that there are too many people in the world, there is too much dog manure in the city as well, and that is all there is to that . Woof Wooff! Bow Wow! But, sir, is there a way that I can urinate on Al Gore's leg. That way I would feel I was contributing to the cause and lowering his carbon count.

Sponsored by Harlem Apparel and T-Shirt Queen. I Love Harlem, even though it can be a dog's life.

Global Warming and the No-osphere

The No-osphere is the sphere of the earth, as it is being affected by human knowledge. So, if we want more forest we can grown them in the desert. The radioactive trails of nuclear waste products are really a blessing. That way all pollution can be tracked by geiger counters, and cleaned. The nuclear waste product can be recycled as medical nuclear chemicals, to help diagnose and treat cancers and other diseases.

With the new HTGR, High Temperature Gas Reactors (see picture), due to inherent safety factors, such as ceramaic casing for all nuclear elements, nuclear reactors can be built in cities, as we have coal, gas and oil power plants in places like New York City, NY today. Meanwhile, falsified temperature records are being exposed in China, in the wake of disruptive snow and ice storms:

From Larouche:

China, which last year was forced to close 553 coal-fired power stations to placate the carbon dioxide mafia, now finds itself suffering under blizzard conditions not seen in 50 years. Half a million soldiers from the People's Liberation Army have been mobilized to rescue freezing residents and clear transportation corridors in large parts of east, central, and southern China. A falsified record of Chinese temperature stations also plays a central role in the global warming hoax:

In May of 2007, climate skeptics Stephen McIntrye and Douglas Keenan exposed as fraudulent the IPCC claim that urban heat island effect--the increase in historical temperature record, due to the fact that monitoring stations were located in urbanizing areas--played only a minor role in the temperature data. The IPCC's claim was based on a landmark 1990 paper ("Assessment of Urbanization effects in time series of surface air temperature over land") by Phil Jones, Director of the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia and co-author Wei-Chyung Wang, professor at the State University of New York in Albany.

But McIntyre and Keenan showed that Jones and his co-author had knowingly falsified data from the 84 Chinese temperature stations used in their study. Jones and his co-author had claimed to have chosen stations "with few, if any, changes in instrumentation, location or observation times." However, after Jones was forced by a protracted Freedom of Information Act fight to release his station list, it was compared to a joint study conducted by the Chinese Academy of Science and the Oak Ridge National Lab's Carbon Dioxide Program, which had assessed the state of repair and history of the temperature stations in China. That study showed that only 60 stations of the 84 used by Jones, et al. had even limited station histories. Al Gore, shame on you.

The Environment or the General Welfare?

Are we for the Environment, or for the General Welfare of the population? What is the purpose of the sovereign Nation-State, such as the United States? The Nation-State for the General Welfare is what we need. Its origin is not Karl Marx but the first Renaissance nation-states 500 years ago. That was France, of Louis XI and later Tudor England of Henry VII. This was the idea of using state-sponsored infrastructure building, canal building, trade fairs, advances in health care, etc, to uplift the population. Have All the People, or the most as possible to live better, work more productively, have healthier children, and have scientific progress. This even goes back to the 1439 Council of Florence, from Cardinal Nicholas of Cusa, and the idea of a nation on the model of the religious doctrine, the Filioque, "also from the Son". The idea is that the "holy spirit proceeds not only from G-d (the Ruler), but also from the Son (the Subjects). This is on top of such works as Plato's Republic from 2500 years ago. Check out the U.S.'s Alexander Hamilton's Report on Manufactures. And that is what we will lose unless the next U.S. President listens to LaRouche and larouchepac.

See answers to this an other of my comments, at the political brief.

Now some comments on Lyndon LaRouche and his PACs proposals. LaRouche wants a single reserve unit, like the dollar was before 1971. Perhaps the dollar can serve again, with a gold reserve. That way you have a link to something real, but ultimately, whether your economy produces value is key. The Eurasian Landbridge, etc. is a new transportation system based on inland transportation, potentially using Maglev trains. The USA, Russia, Europe, China, and India can make a deal for the good of all. Europe, and especially the United Kingdom are dominated by the financial oligarchy. The threat of financial warfare is immediate, we must defend ourselves from speculators and nations under their power. That is why LaRouche is looking at Hillary as a possible person to change and rise to the occasion.
