Global Not- Warming this Year

This post will not make Al Gore happy, although his Polar Bear friend should enjoy it.

The Global Warming threat seems to have taken a vacation in the southern latitudes, or at least in Miami Beach, Florida this winter. Instead, some of the most incredible winter weather and ice is hitting the United States. Add that to the fact the the polar ice cap is increasing, including in the Disco Bay (someone do a bit of Saturday Night Fever please) area of Greenland. The killer, however, is the following report of near-killer ice and snow slides in Washington State, from larouchepac:

Second Avalanche in Two Days Strikes I-90 in Washington State

January 31, 2008 (LPAC) -- It didn't look like global warming. A wall of snow 400 feet long and 30-feet deep fell from the slopes of the Snoqualmie Pass onto Interstate 90 earlier today, trapping several cars, but miraculously not injuring anyone. It was the second avalanche in two days on the stretch of highway through the Cascade Range about 30 miles east of Seattle.

The interstate had only been open for about five hours, after being closed Tuesday morning from an earlier avalanche onto the roadway in the same vicinity. Area residents cannot recall even a single such event in the past. As of Thursday afternoon, I-90 was closed through the Snoqualmie Pass. The National Weather Service issued a heavy snow warning for the west slope of the Cascades, North Cascades and the Olympic Mountains until Friday morning, with up to 3 more feet of snow expected.

Early in the week two storms converged, one from California and another from the Gulf of Alaska, dropping snow on mountain areas from Washington state to Arizona. These were followed Tuesday by a third storm over the northwest, while bitter cold air and blizzards descended on the northern plains, sending temperatures down 50 degrees in a few hours. Heavy snow stretched from the southeastern plains to Lake Erie. As of Thursday, the ice, snow and high winds were moving across the midwestern states, aimed to arrive in the northeast by early Friday.

For a view of the northern hemisphere snow and ice accumulation as of today, see:
NOAA.

Carbon Count and Environmentally Sound Energy

A top environmental scientist has asked, why is the American Nuclear Society bothering to give credence the the man-made global warming myth, in a vain hope that this will increase support for nuclear energy. Zbigniew Jaroworski is a senior advisor to a top laboratory in Warsaw, Poland. This professor had shown the evidence to Dr. Hans Blix, then Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, in 1989 that the Chernobyl Nuclear Accident had actually relatively minor effects outside of the actual plant, where up to a 100 people were killed or injured. Dr. Blix answered that the public would never be convinced about the minor general effects of the Chernobyl accident, and it would be better to concentrate on the benefits of Nuclear Energy in avoiding CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) emissions. This Dr. Jaroworski rejected as lying sophistry. Note that the Bhopal India chemical plant disaster killed over 10,000 people, and we still produce chemicals.

Note, according to author R. Lindzen, the major greenhouse, or global warming gas is water vapor, or H2O, accounting for 98-percent or so of the global warming, greenhouse effect.

Jaworoski actually reports that looking at historic CO2 measurements, CO2 in the atmosphere is actually down from a peak in the 1930s and 40s. Here are some of his and other scientists' references in academic and other journals.

Could we Divert some Environmental Energy, please

This is a t-shirt, sweatshirt line, with the image of the Record Shack on it, please click for more information. While people go crazy over the Global Warming craze, what about how the Real Estate bubble has destroyed our shops and our communities, in places like Harlem, NY? This is globalization hitting home. You may see the real estate bubble collapsing in many places, but it needs to be put through a bankruptcy reorganization, like recommended in LaRouche's Home owner and banker Protection Act.

Are we really going to Drown from Global Warming?

No, we are not going to drown from Global Warming. The latest expose of this fraud is at link, and it is a blockbuster. The author of the article is Nils-Axel Morner, who has been around the world studying sea-levels. Of course sea-levels do change over time. For the period of 1850-1939, it seems that at least many sea-levels were rising by 1 millimeter a year, which means , that they would rise a bit over a long period of time. However, that trend seems to have stopped then. Now, in many places, such as the famous Maldive Islands, low islands in the Indian Ocean, now the sea-level is falling.

Then the bull-crap thickens. Take the case of the Tuvalu Islands. They have had some significant soil subsidence. A Japanese Pineapple company was growing pineapples there, and it drained significant amounts of ground water, in excess of the constant supply. This called soil subsidence, and this was then lyingly blamed on Global Warming. See what I mean! So check it out, there is more at 21st Century link.

An Opportunity to Sound Off About Global Warming

Yes kids, this is an opportunity to sound off about yourself, your life, or even about your feelings about (so-called) Global Warming. You can do this all on YawpBox, your own homemade television channel.

And in fact, there is a weekly television show out of Dallas, Texas, where you can get on TV, if you make the cut. What you have to do is tune into yawpbox.com and try to do various tasks, make movies on various themes that are offered. Lex & Terry's no-hold barred show will get you salivating for your Andy Warhol-like 15-minutes of fame.

Watching ordinary people do their reality tv bit can be entertaining. One young man was doing his rendition of Amazing Grace. OK, he might be subject to judicial rendition to a hostile country for musical terrorism, but it is definitely different. Another show had people standing at salute for the national anthem before a ball game. A different show maker didn't have a video, only a classic photo of two rhinocerous copulating. I think you get the general idea. You might want to look at the Lex and Terry challenge. They are going to give you some good ideas for content, and there are going to be some cool content.

One Lex and Terry Challenge is to get the best Tattoo on TV. The guy had a flaming Ac/Dc tatoo on his bicep. Another contest was about if you ever got yourself into headlines. An attractive young lady in a bikini told her story. Actually, her body was showing, but the video was some ad about Southwest Airlines. Anyway, I guess they are working out the bugs, but you can be part of it!!!

Environmentalism by Uncle Michael Bloomberg

Michael Bloomberg, the mayor of New York City, wants to do the fascist thing, but not only where he is out, but all over the country. That is right, the Bloomberg for President, independent thing, is live. What does that mean for environmentalists? I means don't believe him. He will come with all these extraordinarily regressive taxes, in the name of the environment. And that is plain fascist. Bloomberg's Plan NY or Plan 2030 is a wildly fascist plan to keep people and of course their cars, from the outer boroughs out of the sacred precinct of Manhattan, also known as Un-manned-hattan. This is allegedly to help the mad onrushing forces of Global Warming from burning us all to a crisp. If you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you.
Next, he will go along with the British fellow who is pushing huge taxes for anyone taking more than one round-trip airplane flight a year. Get ready for the New Dark Age if you go along with this stuff. For more details, see American Mussolini.

A Word from the Tee Shirt Queen

Take a look here:

The t-shirt queen, Chitra Desai has gotten on blip.tv, on the fashion fever show. She is showing off her I Love Harlem line of sportswear.

Urban Green Condos not always Green

The Urban Green Condos are doing well in Brooklyn, but the results are not always very green looking. I mean they are making money, so that is a green, cash aspect, but their environmentally friendly aspect can be under attack some time. See more at curbed.com, or even better brownstoner.

The project is located at 142 North 6th St in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NYC, NY. It has been in suspended animation for months, but now it is being constructed again. Right now there is a lot of fumes and dirty water around the site. Gentrified Brooklyn is becoming incredibly expensive. I guess the last hold out is Ridgewood, in Queens on the Brooklyn border. The subway service is not close to most of it, so it hasn't been a favorite of the condo set. Of course, if they all start going broke, your investment could end up in deep-doo-doo.

Get the Vibration, Green or Otherwise

Yes, we all want to get that New Age, Green vibration, but that doesn't help much if your back hurts. So, why not get the green vibration from a Massage chair, a vibrating chair. Human Touch, the new age Massage Chairs will get you where you want to go. And that massage feeling is bound to help you relax and lower your carbon count. Why go off a jet around the world for vacation and spas and relief, when you can get it right here, with a massage chair.
For example, the HT-7120 has a lumbar heater, to get the heat down into your lower back and make you feel good all over. The rotating foot and calf massager is down to hit the spot in your aching legs. And the good thing is that the black leather upholstered chair looks great all the time, even when it is not giving you a massage. Do you get the message, a good massage! There is also back massage by machine, and a full body stretch mode, to stretch out and feel good all over. Naturally, it is a fairly major purchase at, $2,699, but don't expect to get these benefits any other way cheaper. Do you have any idea what is costs to get a regular massage by a human massage worker? It can easily cost $50 are more a shot. So check out all the models, the iJoy-100 starts at only $599. Such a deal, and the environment and Mother Earth hope you can keep your carbon count under control, in the global warming struggle.

Cut your Carbon Foot Print by 60-percent?

Do you want to cut your Carbon Footprint by 60-percent? It seems there are people out in the blogosphere who want to do this. Look at the blog of Cheryl McNamara of Toronto, Canda, she seems to be contemplating this. The lady says she had 11.6 tons of carbon use this year, of which, a large portion 6.32 tons, is due to her 5 round-trip airplane flights. This confirms my warning concerning the United Kingdom's push, by David Cameron to put huge taxes on airplane flights. Obviously, destroying fast communications through airplane flights is a big goal of the greenie, New Dark Ages, fascist Nazi freak crowd, such as Al Gore. Unfortunately, all the candidates in the United States for President have signed on to this crap.

However, if we are about to have even a little bit of sanity, why not build Maglev trains. They can "fly" passengers between cities up to 500-miles away, at speeds up to 300-miles-per-hour. Currently, they serve Shanghai and Shanghai airport in China. New lines are planned for Munich, Germany, and somewhere in Japan. Let's get a little bit of sanity out of this greenie mess.

Art and the Green Life

The Green life seems to be to be rather contemplative. After all, since doing anything, or producing anything is so horrible and polluting, so what can you do? The gathering of information seems to be the New Age thing, including information about art. A good place to start is the Park West Art Gallery in Southfield Michigan, one of the largest private art galleries in the world.
They receive thousands of requests and submissions a year to become part of their extensive collection. Several artists work exclusively for the Park West Art Gallery. The Gallery conducts fine art auctions throughout the United States and Canada, and even have a division that conducts Fine Art auctions on cruise ships. Their 3 1/2 acre facility in Southfield Michigan is built in the form of a Greek-Roman temple, in the tradition of fine art Museums throughout the world. All of this art contemplation is bound to make a dent in Global Warming!

Enviromental Hypocrites

Bomb Exploded, investigated, in Port Harcourt Nigeria, near the oil and gas fields.

Here is typical pseudo-humanistic greenie propaganda. They claim to be concerned about a tribal people in Nigeria, but when are we going to make sure these people get
electricity?

NY LEAGUE OF CONSERVATION VOTERS:
SAY NO! TO SHELL/BROADWATER

LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS: FILTHY AS COAL

New York, New York Štate Opponents of the massive Broadwater/Shell liquefied
natural gas industrial barge proposed for Long Island Sound will hold
an educational event outside the NY League of Conservation Voters cocktail
party at Christie's, 20 Rockefeller Plaza, NY City on Thursday,
December 6, 2007, beginning 5:30 pm. Party goers will be informed on
Broadwater/Shell¹s destructive and violent impacts on the environment
and human rights.

New York City and Long Island delegates are joining forces to urge the
League of Conservation Voters to recognize that liquid natural gas is
an illusory twentieth century answer to the twenty-first century
all-to-real problem: climate change. (Another hoax- global warming. Climate Change as a term is pure gobbledeegook, since the climate always changes, the weather is different every day).

The Broadwater/Shell liquefied natural gas project is a clever
attempt to scam New York City and Long Island residents into believing this
project will aid the environment. This is nonsense. When one takes into
account the amount of fossil-fuels needed to extract natural gas compress,
liquefy, refrigerate, transport, store and re-gasify it the total
pollutants generated from this entire process approach those from
burning coal, declared Energy Consultant and Environmental Studies Professor
Peter Maniscalco, pointing to recent Greenpeace reports on liquid natural
gas.

Mayor Bloomberg¹s PLANY 2030 relies heavily on new sources of
natural gas to replace coal plants, re-power old plants and build new gas
facilities. This is why 70% of Broadwater¹s gas is targeted for NY City, said
Robert Jereski, an environmental educator in New York City. ³But if
liquefied natural gas is almost as filthy as coal, what¹s the point? The point
for Shell is that they've created a multi-billion dollar hoax that will
fill Shell¹s coffers for decades to come.

Shell Oil has vast liquefied natural gas holdings in Nigeria where
the company has devastated the environment, economy and culture of people
like the Ogoni tribe in the Niger Delta. In addition, it is widely alleged
that Shell Oil is implicated in the deaths of 9 Ogoni environmental
activists, including Nobel Peace Prize nominee Ken Saro-Wiwa, stated Maniscalco.
A human rights lawsuit in the Saro-Wiwa case against Shell filed by the
Center for Constitutional Rights is pending in Manhattan Federal Court.

Note there is no concern that the Ogoni people have virtually no electricity. It talks about them as if they are non-human beast. Yet, they also want to live long and happy lives. Most of these people are Christians or Muslims, and have similar belief structures to people in the United States. Talk to any Nigerian immigrants and you will see this.

Remember the Poor People with the Environment

Remember the poor people with the environment. For example I Love Harlem and my friends at the
T-shirt Queen.

Seriously, people forget about poverty. They want to solve energy problems and fears of Carbon Dioxide build-up, with huge taxes on the poor, on energy. These are regressive taxes. People need heat in the winter, air-condition (for example, to work in an office, for sure, in the summer). That's why we need nuclear fission and nuclear fusion power, and it WILL help the environment. Sounds absurd, but I think not. Anyway, oil will run out in 30-100 years or at least become scarcer. So, these issues are bigger than just "Global Warming."

(Tune: Joni Mitchell's "Yellow Taxi")

They take Carbon taxes,
Make you pay them one by one,
And they tax the people, so they can't have any fun;
Don't it always seem to go, that the ultra-rich just get some more,
They take Carbon taxes, tax all the poor to death.
Ha, ha, ha!
